Swing Blue Alliance and Working America are working together to send personalized letters on health care to 500,000 Working America members in Pennsylvania.
This is a research-driven determination to cut through the election noise and reach out to folks often left out of or turned off by traditional electoral messaging.
Since the letter-recipients are very likely to vote, the letter does not address candidates or voting. And since most do not have college degrees, and do not regularly watch cable news, the letter is more persuasive by making a personal appeal to an issue, healthcare, that folks have experienced within their daily lives.
To complete a letter, you will hand write the recipient’s name at the top of the letter, sign your name at the end, and provide a brief (2-3 sentence) personal statement about healthcare. Put the completed letter in the envelope, hand address it, and place a first class stamp on it.
Please return completed letters to me; I will mail them in October.

• 25 1st class Forever Stamps per Packet ($0.73/stamp)
• Volunteer Instruction Sheet
• Cost per Packet: $24.75
• Printer* Cost per Packet: $6.50 (including tax, shipping, envelope)
• Stamps: $0.73 x 25 = $18.25
