If you’re going Pennsylvania to register college students, this is the training for you!
These training sessions are for those who have signed up to register college students during Welcome Weeks for new students.
This 90 minute training will first and foremost cover the basics of how to register voters in PA. It will also provide special emphasis on issues that might arise for college students. For example, what IDs out of state students can use to register, how to handle student addresses and some quirks in handling student voter registrations that may exist in different counties.
Be prepared to share any experience you may have had registering voters or canvassing. These will be interactive sessions with sample scripts and role playing so that you will feel comfortable talking to students when you are on campus.
