Swing Blue Alliance and Working America (WA) are working together to send personalized letters on health care to WA members in the key swing state of Pennsylvania. (Working America is an affiliate of the AFL-CIO for persons that do not have unions in their workplace). These letters are designed to cut through the election noise and reach out to folks often turned off by traditional electoral messaging. These letters do not mention voting or candidates. They are part of a multi-touch contact plan.
The letters are backed by years of rigorous testing and stand out among mail campaigns for their continued effectiveness at persuading voters to vote for endorsed candidates.
To complete a letter, you will hand write the recipient’s name at the top of the letter, sign your name at the end, and provide a brief (1-3 sentences) personal statement about healthcare. Put the completed letter in the envelope, hand address it, and place a first class stamp on it.
Completed letters should be returned to 50 Harris St preferably within two to three weeks or please let us know if you’ll be returning later.
Each packet consists of 25 letters and 25 envelopes and will take about 75-90 minutes to complete. When registering, please consider ordering two or more packets if possible. Each packet of 25 will cost $6. First class stamps are not included and it will cost $18.25 to puchase 25 1st class stamps.
