The most important thing we can do in Pennsylvania to win the election is to register new voters. And where do you find young unregistered voters all in one place at the same time? At college campuses during the first week of classes.
We are lucky enough to be partnering with a group that is already well recognized on PA campuses as ambassadors of civic engagement and voter registration. Their goal is to register 10-12,000 students during Welcome Weeks and they need all the help we can offer.
You can sign up here for 2 new colleges in central PA that we recently added to our roster:
August 20, 21 and 22: Commonwealth University (formerly known as Bloomsburg University) in Bloomsburg, PA
August 27, 28, and 29: Penn State University in State College, PA. This is largest of the Penn State campuses with ~46,000 undergraduates.
In each school we will be working closely with our partner group. One of their Organizers will direct our efforts.
To ensure that you are well trained and will be successful, we ask all volunteers to sign up for a 90-minute class on August 13. You can sign up HERE.
