 Time to Get Involved

The shocking news that the Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe v. Wade highlights the urgency of strengthening the Democrats’ fragile majority in Congress and of electing Democrats at the state level.

Within days of the leaked decision, activists in Massachusetts and around the country sprang into action. Indivisible Mass Coalition hosted rallies all across the state. Read the Boston Globe's coverage of the rally at the state house and what MA political leaders are saying.

But we all know that rallies and speeches are just the beginning. We will win if we keep this momentum going. Join us at the All-Volunteer Roundup on 5/22 to strategize AND socialize.

If you're feeling like TODAY is the time to up your involvement, there are more rallies today and next Saturday.

See you at the May Roundup!

The next Swing Blue Alliance All-Volunteer Roundup is outdoors! Join us in a bucolic setting at Beaver Brook Reservation, in Waltham. Share strategies for the midterms! Write postcards! Play a trivia game created just for us! Learn about canvassing opportunities!

See your fellow activists IN PERSON, have a brewski and enjoy delicious food. Attendees will receive a campaign-themed gift.

Mark your calendar and RSVP below to let us know you are coming. You can help the event planning team by adding your name to our list now.

Sun, May 22 @ 4 pm - 6 pm EDT

Apologies to friends from far away who may not be able to attend.  We'll send out a full recap in the following week's issue.

Help turn New Hampshire Blue in '22 By Knocking on Doors

To save Democracy, we know that we must preserve and increase our federal majorities. In New Hampshire that means supporting Senator Maggie Hassan and Representative Chris Pappas. But our work cannot stop there. In states like New Hampshire, with both houses under right wing Republican control, we must also flip the State Legislature.

The key to success will be knocking on doors and talking and listening to voters.  We will be canvassing in New Hampshire towns every other Saturday for the next few months.  Please join us to help save Democracy!

Postcards to Colorado

Our project with the Environmental Voter Project (EVP) to encourage low-propensity voters in the newest CO congressional district, CO-08, is underway. The goal is to increase the influence of climate voters, and you can read more about the project here.

Postcards are easy for volunteers to process: they only require a short, handwritten message and placement of an address label and stamp on the card. You can find out where and when to pick up postcards by clicking on the link below.

If you'd like to host your own postcarding event, visit the SBA EStore.  There you'll find step-by-step instructions on how to host.

All CO postcards to be sent on June 6

Activist Profile: Meet Shaw Yang

Like many of us, Shaw Yang transitioned from Democratic voter/supporter to activist in the wake of the 2016 election. Now, as a Swing Blue organizer and the co-founder of the Massachusetts Grassroots Information Center (News-MAGIC), Shaw is inspiring and informing activists, both novice and seasoned.
