Blue Wave Postcard Movement has launched its newest wave of postcards. These are created in collaboration with grassroots groups on the ground in West Virginia. The last time we tried these, we had a 1% response rate. This is extremely good. You can get started ordering cards and we’ll promote on the calendar, the newsletter and emails. Please arrange your distribution event within one week of getting the cards (cards will arrive on May 5-6).
About this Action
From targeting to messaging, Blue Wave Postcard Movement worked very closely with local WV groups to develop this campaign. In the campaign, we’re asking WV progressives to urge Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) to ensure that the For the People Act passes in the Senate.
The best way to remind constituents to call is to send them postcards with a phone number that will connect them directly to Manchin’s office where they can leave a message urging the Senator, not just to support H.R. 1/S.1, but to make sure it doesn’t die in the Senate.
Postcards will be easy for volunteers to process: they only require a short, handwritten message and placement of an address label and stamp on the card.
