A Great Texting Opportunity
Working in conjunction with Field Team 6, we will text unregistered likely Democrats in key swing states to help them register to vote. We will use a method developed by FT6 that is free and flexible. It’s called BYOP, which stands for Bring Your Own Phone, even though you will use your computer and not your phone. You will have to install some basic software, but it’s not hard, and once you have installed the prerequisites, it’s as easy as hitting one button.
In addition, you will be able to send texts whenever it’s convenient for you, as long as it’s between 9AM and 9 PM in the location you are texting.
We are currently working on Congressional District PA01, a flippable district currently held by a Republican, despite the fact that Biden won it by nearly 6 points. We have a strong candidate with lots of potential – if we can boost Democratic turn out, which as we know, starts by registering Democrats.
