The votes of BIPOC/community of color voters will be critical to protecting democracy in the 2024 elections. Primary voting promotes consistent voting habits, and greatly increases the likelihood of voting in the fall. We are writing to alert 51,000 registered community of color voters in VA Congressional District 2 to vote in the June 18 primary. Our postcards inform voters of where and when to vote, and of the key issues at stake (voting rights, reproductive rights, Medicare and Social Security).
Postcards are easy to write: They only require a handwritten message and placement of a voting information label, address label, and stamp. A packet of 25 cards and stamps costs $17.50 (Venmo or check due by pickup time) and should take less than an hour to complete. Mail completed postcards by June 3rd.
