Thanks to You...

Polls and pundits see darkness, but we see the light - You! 

In fact, 2023 was Swing Blue Alliance's highest participation year yet! Amid the darkest of predictions, you stepped up to be the light, winning race after race.

• We raised $9,000 to help Donna Deegan become the first female mayor of Jacksonville Florida.
• We mobilized to flip the Wisconsin Supreme Court.  
• We helped preserve the fragile Democratic majority in the Pennsylvania House by campaigning for Heather Boyd.
• We helped the Ohio Democratic Party to soundly defeat the antidemocratic effort to keep the people from enshrining reproductive rights in the Ohio constitution. 
• We moved the 400-member New Hampshire state legislature one step closer to a Democratic majority by winning a special election. 
• We collaborated with grassroots groups in Virginia to hold the State Senate and flip the House of Delegates.
• We helped All In for NC harness the power of coalition organizing, exceeding fundraising expectations and empowering North Carolina  Democrats to hit the ground running for 2024 races.

Your work in this supposed "off-year" fills us with hope for success in the crucial elections all over the country in 2024.

Let's Ring in the New Year with a Congressional Bang!

The first step to take back the US House in 2024 is to re-elect former Congressman Tom Suozzi to NY 3 in a Special Election on 2/13/24.

This was Lying George Santos’s Congressional seat, so it's is a great opportunity for the Democrats to pick up a seat in the House.

Tom Suozzi represented NY 3 before Santos defrauded voters in the 2022 midterms. While in Congress, Suozzi was vice-chair of the Problem Solvers Caucus, and is committed to protecting the environment, decreasing the cost of prescription drugs and protecting reproductive rights.

2024 Activist Afternoons

It's not too late to RSVP for the Jan. 7 launch party for Activist Afternoons.  Come party with us and ease into action with food and fun.

Every other Sunday starting on Jan. 7, volunteers like you can come to socialize and contribute to a variety of grassroots campaigns. Organizations including Swing Blue Alliance will offer a selection of activities that enable you to strengthen democracy and/or address climate change, the housing crisis, reproductive rights, and other issues.

Send Biden an Early Valentine

from New Hampshire

The decision of the Democratic Party to spotlight the more diverse state of South Carolina by scheduling its primary as the first official one means that Joe Biden's name is not on the ballot for Jan. 23 New Hampshire primary, which NH officials scheduled in defiance of the national Dem Party.

NH grassroots activists want voters to use the controversy to send a message of support for President Biden. Swing Blue's first action of 2024 will be to join in this effort with a postcard campaign.

The eyes of the world will be on the results in NH on January 23rd, and we can kick off 2024 with a Biden win. Let’s show the nation that thousands of New Hampshire Democratic voters are supporting President Joe Biden as he stands up for our personal freedoms including reproductive rights, builds an economy that works for everyone, and fights back against the MAGA extremists.

All In for NC: Fundraising Powerhouse!

Thanks to all who contributed to All In for NC's December 5 fundraiser. They raised more than $200,000 at that event, which is only one of the many ways that AINC is helping to build up North Carolina Democrats.

These funds will allow the NC Democrats to reach every corner of Dem-rich but low-turnout Mecklenburg County and build grassroots operations in all 100 NC counties.

Organizers in NC are doing the work and building the network it will take to keep a Democrat in the Governor’s mansion, break the Republican supermajority control of the legislature, win North Carolina for President Biden, and set the stage to flip the Republicans’ most vulnerable US Senate Seat in 2026.

Swing Blue Alliance (formerly Swing Left Greater Boston) is the largest all-volunteer Democratic grassroots organization headquartered in Massachusetts. We use proven methods to protect our Democracy, work on competitive local and national elections, and strengthen the Democratic party at the grassroots level.
