Only 30% of 18-year olds are registered to vote! The 2024 high school graduation season is a critical time to register students who will be 18 by November.
The Civics Center empowers students and educators to change that by helping them lead voter registration drives in their schools.
Join us on Tuesday, May 7 at 6:00-7:30pm for light bites and drinks at the home of Lori & Eric Lander (address provided upon registration) to learn more about The Civics Center from Laura Brill, its Founder and CEO, and to raise funds to support its mission to make voter registration part of every high school in America. (Tickets to the event are free.)
Host Committee (in formation): Jenny Altshuler, Elizabeth Bartle & David Boghossian, Ellen Curren & John Lees, Henrietta Davis, Rosalie & Gerald Fink, Berl Hartman, Allison & Ezra Hausman, Sherry Katz & Mark Farber, Susan Labandibar, Lori & Eric Lander, Barbara Lietzke, Anne St. Goar and Shippen Page, Cindy Shulak-Rome & Dan Rome, Susan and Matt Ryan, Richard Segan
Our goal is to raise funds this Spring to expand our programs in Ohio, Michigan, and other key areas where the youth vote will have the greatest impact. The Civics Center is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that provides free training and resources to help make voter registration part of every high school in America.
