All In for North Carolina continues to work with grassroots groups to help in their efforts to take back North Carolina, laying the groundwork to win the open, Republican-held US Senate seat up in 2022 and, thanks to court-ordered redistricting, one or two Congressional seats in a state which gains one this decade. The slim Democratic majority on the state supreme court is also in play in 2022; Democrats have a real chance to win the state House by 2024.
On May 23, we’ll hear from some of the exciting, rising star candidates who won primaries in contested districts — people whose races are unusually important to the future of North Carolina and the country. Confirmed are:
* Mary Wills Bode, running for State Senate District 18 in Wake and Granville Counties;
* Dr. Kimberley Hardy, running for State House District 43 in Cumberland County (ran in 2020 also); and
* Diamond Staton-Williams, running for State House District 73 in Cabarrus County.
