SBA volunteer Sue Donaldson writes: "Here in Philly, we're finding that people are willing to help in any way they can. At a photocopy store, we asked to print a bunch of posters on colored paper. When the salesperson understood who we were, she gave us colored paper and rang it up as white, so we paid only half the price. Later, we were buying goodies for the Philly House, including half a bundt cake from a bakery. When the owner found out we were helping get out the vote, he gave us the other half for free." Her win will enable Democrats to overcome the state senate's election deniers and their plans to put together a fake slate of electors. An exciting 2023 experiment run by Swing Blue Alliance in Virginia showed that handwritten candidate postcards may have a significant effect on vote choice. Let's repeat this experiment this November so that we can continue to learn what works and to share that knowledge with the progressive community.

Help Swing Blue Alliance Activate Early In-Person Voting in Philadelphia
Philadelphia’s new Satellite Election Offices (SEOs) offer a unique opportunity for voters to register to vote, apply for a mail-in ballot, and even vote on the spot by requesting and voting with a mail-in ballot. Help us reach college students and young people who live in these SEO areas.
Come to Philly for three or more days THIS WEEK and work during peak pedestrian hours. You'll distribute flyers and guide potential voters into the SEOs to vote immediately. We’ll train you, give you a voting guide, and prep you to answer questions.
Can’t join us? Please donate to help us reach as many young voters as possible.
Canvass and Register Voters in Bucks County, PA
Come spend five days in purple Bucks County, where we can reap Democratic votes for up and down ballot candidates. Our focus is Bensalem, a heavily populated municipality with a diverse community. You will help get out the vote for both state and federal candidates, as well as register voters.
Come help register and get out the vote in Reading -- the fourth largest city in PA -- and the surrounding Berks County. This area has a growing Latino population and other diverse communities that are often underrepresented in the electorate. Mobilize Democratic voters in these areas that traditionally align with democratic values but are often disengaged from the political process.
