Make Flipping a NY Congressional Seat Your New Year's Resolution |
George Santos is finally out (hooray!), and we have the opportunity to flip this Long Island congressional seat back to blue! Let’s start the new year by re-taking one of just 5 seats needed to flip the US House. Tom Suozzi, the well-liked former Democratic Congressman from this district (NY-03), is working hard to take the seat back in a special election on February 13th. |
Join us January 19-21 for a weekend of canvassing on Long Island (Queens/Nassau) and a delicious dinner in Flushing’s Chinatown, and have a flipping good time! Transportation and some home stays are available. |
Select Shifts for Sat, Jan 20 and Sun, Jan 21 @ 10 am EST These are the dates for the Swing Blue Group. Questions? Contact Berl Hartman (berl.hartman@gmail.com) |
Can't travel to Long Island? Swing Blue will have phone banks for Suozzi up and running soon, and meanwhile, join Indivisible Northampton's phone banks or Suozzi's phone bank team. |
Thu, Jan 11 @ 5:30 pm EST |
Daily, various times, until election day 2/13/24 |
Give President Biden an Early NH Primary Valentine |
Join Swing Blue Alliance for a phone bank to help Democratic activists in NH who have started a Write In Biden campaign for the January 23 primary. |
The eyes of the world on January 23 will be on the results in NH, where state law requiring that NH hold the first primary conflicts with the Democratic Party's decision to put the primary of the more diverse state of South Carolina first. The write in campaign hopes to use the controversy to give Biden an early win. |
The campaign is supported by Representatives Hakeem Jeffries, Ro Khanna, Seth Moulton, Governor Healey and many other Democrats. |
Sun, Jan 14 @ 3 – 5 pm EST Wed, Jan 17 @ 5 - 7 pm EST Sat, Jan 20@ 3 - 5 pm EST |
Opportunity: Voter Registration Team |
More than 8 million young people have reached voting age since the 2022 midterms. |
Swing Blue Alliance is in the process of building partnerships with groups whose mission is to register voters, and we need YOU! Together we can determine the best way for Swing Blue volunteers to have an impact on voter registration. If you're interested, please contact Berl Hartman (berl.hartman@gmail.com). |

Amplify This |
Today is the 3-year anniversary of the Jan. 6 2021 assault on the Capitol, on democracy itself. We will not let pro-authoritarian forces prevail in our country. Let's do all we can to amplify our commitment to democracy and the rule of law. |
Join Indivisible Concord, with speakers Deval Patrick, Danielle Allen, and other local leaders, for a rally TODAY to stand up for democracy and show that we are united in our commitment to defeating authoritarianism. |
The Biden campaign has just put out an inspiring new ad about the current stakes in the fight against Rightwing extremism. Let's do all we can to amplify this message: |
Simon Rosenberg's Hopium Chronicles is constantly updated with useful facts that we can use to amplify the successes of the Biden administration and highlight the contrast with the far-Right Republicans: |
And here's a succinct list by a citizen on X/Twitter who has taken it upon himself to compile a list for people who ask "But what has Biden DONE?": |
Our Mission Swing Blue Alliance (formerly Swing Left Greater Boston) is the largest all-volunteer Democratic grassroots organization headquartered in Massachusetts.
