Led by the Boston Trainers Collective, this 90-minute workshop — Who Keeps Us Safe? We Keep Us Safe — will teach practical tools for community safety, marshaling, and de-escalation during nonviolent protests. Through role plays and real-world scenarios, participants will practice staying grounded, supporting one another, and managing tense moments with confidence.
We’ll kick off with a short, energizing warm-up — a few minutes of song, chant, and connection — to lift our voices before training begins.
Hands-on training: De-escalation, marshaling, and safety practice.
Collective care: Tools for well-being and mutual support.
Practical prep: “Know Your Rights” materials and live feedback.
Logistics: Water and cookies provided; safety marshals on site.
We’ll wrap up with reflections and next steps to prepare for No Kings Day 2 and beyond.
Please spread the word to friends and local groups in Medfield, Sharon, Norfolk, Millis, and beyond. Let’s fill the room with courage and community.
