Sit by the virtual fireplace, snuggle up with a hot cocoa and listen to five spellbinding tales of election travelers who defended our democracy this November. Then learn about voter protection on the ground in Georgia!
An immigrant and naturalized citizen since 2011, Hari Kumar drove 2400 miles solo from rural Central Mass to rural Central Wisconsin and back to serve as an Election Day poll observer. He dressed up proudly in his patriotic finest, put on a suit jacket and tie for the occasion, and showed up bright and early at 6:30am at his polling location... only to start off on the wrong foot entirely with the Chief Inspector of the site.

#JoyToThePolls in Philadelphia turned long waiting lines into a party with music and dancing. Margaret Kwateng, a direct action organizer from Brooklyn, New York, kept the party going after the election as Trump supporters tried to stop the count. #JoyToThePolls proved that it's hard to stay angry while everyone else is having a good time.
