Canvassing in Florida Starts Up

On the next Swing Left Greater Boston trip, February 24-28, we’ll be knocking on doors in Manatee County. Without you, Dems in Sarasota and Manatee counties won’t be able to register the 20,000 new Democratic voters required to take back the White House and flip Florida’s 16th Congressional seat. As successful and organized as these groups are, they need more feet on the street to accomplish their goals.

Special Election Is Just the First Step

“On March 17, 2020, Dems flipped HD 18, the first of nine seats necessary to turning the PA State House Blue.”

If you want to read this headline on March 18, get to work before it’s too late.

The state congressional seat in PA HD 18 is open and easy pickin’s for the Dems: Lower Bucks County flipped to Democratic control in 2019 for the first time since 1973, and the Democratic candidate, Harold Hayes, is running against the daughter of current State Senator/GOP boss Tommy Tomlinson, who says that she is “committed to Keeping out Dangerous Philadelphia Policies.”

The election can go either way, depending on voter turnout.

That means we have to knock on a lot of doors in a very short time.
