SWING BLUE ALLIANCE presents . . .
A Social Media Storm to
Help Wisconsin elect Judge Susan Crawford for Wisconsin Supreme Court
- Elon Musk has donated millions to Wisconsin Republicans. This race is now a national fight for democracy.
- A Crawford win means a pro-democracy court until 2028 — with a chance to fix gerrymandered congressional maps and flip two U.S. House seats in 2026.
- Right wing candidate Brad Schimel would target voting rights, the Affordable Care Act, and reproductive rights. He supports a total abortion ban.
How can SBA help Judge Crawford win? We are partnering with Wisconsin Megaphone, a digital volunteer program that spreads progressive messaging, to reach Wisconsin voters from wherever SBA volunteers live.
Here’s what you can do:
- If you have connections to folks in Wisconsin, reach out to them with Wisconsin Megaphone posts.
- All SBA volunteers can increase the reach of WI Megaphone’s content by engaging directly with posts from Wisconsin-based users that we find by following posts and reposts from Wisconsin Megaphone. By liking, commenting on and sharing posts, our volunteers can help Susan Crawford’s campaign spread further and reach the people who need to see it most. 🚀

🚀 Social Media Storm for April 1st
Good morning, and welcome to our final Social Media Storm for WI! And thank you for being part of this effort!
Today, take every opportunity to remind people to get more information at myvote.wi gov – and drop this link in where you can:
https://vote.wisdems.org/
Keeping conversations going with questions should come easily on Election Day: HAVE YOU VOTED? If you haven’t gone yet, can you take a friend? Do you need help finding your polling place? When do the polls close? What are you going to do do all day to stay calm waiting for the returns to come in?
Historically I have made a chicken pot pie on special election days to calm my nerves waiting for polls to close . . . It started with Doug Jones, which was incidentally also the day I discovered my children did not know what live TV was. Turns out live TV is really not such a big deal anymore, but as Tim Walz taught us, casseroles never go out of style.

🚀 Social Media Storm for Monday, March 31st
Ok crew, welcome to your penultimate breakfast browse, the end is in sight. Today is for cheerleading: go Wisconsin, go!!

We’ve got another one from Fox – I think it’s really important to put some time in to crafting pro Crawford messages, use our tag #SBWI and make sure the pro-Crawford messages rise to the top. And don’t say a word on the MAGA/pro Schimel posts. That will make them more visible. This is your only link for FB today, in order to move the needle on this post.
Threads:
Thanks for posting! As always, If you’d like more images, or inspiration, you can pull from Wisconsin Megaphone or Demcast.
🚀 Social Media Storm for Sunday, March 30
Good morning! Thank you for starting your day with a little reverse-doom-scrolling – aka optimistic posting. Plus, hopefully, some good strong coffee…
We’re sticking with Musk paying for the election, and we’re dipping our toes across enemy lines on FB – remember, don’t amplify MAGA land comments by responding in any way, that only increases the likelihood of the comment being seen. Engage with pro Crawford, anti Schimel/Musk comments, and make your own. Use our hashtags and be sure to respond to the others that use it.

🚀 Social Media Storm for Saturday, March 29
Good morning! I hope everyone will enjoy a leisurely posting storm this morning, over an extra cup of coffee, or tea, poster’s choice!
I’m focusing today’s posts on the eye-popping money Musk is pouring in to the states, including the $2M he plans to not buy votes with, but rather to gift to some voters who vote the way he wants. This is now the subject of a lawsuit brought by Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul.
I’ve got stories on the law suit across all the platforms, and I encourage you to like, comment, and use some of the resources below – suggested language, images, and articles, in your comments. You can include links to phone bank too if you’re so moved! I skipped threads today because I couldn’t find any Wisconsin based coverage of the story, and I thought our collective energy would be better spent on the many sources of local news on Facebook.
As you scroll through the comments on these posts, remember – do not engage with any MAGA universe comments at all – that will only help the to be seen by more poeple – rather comment favorably on those you agree with, so that they rise to the top of the stack when people click on the story. On FB in particular, a heart carries more weight than a like.
If you’d like more images, or inspiration, you can pull from Wisconsin Megaphone or Demcast
Suggested language from DemCast to use or adapt:
On April 1 Wisconsin has a choice to make— allow our state to be taken over by the oligarchy Elon Musk is trying to build, or defend our democracy and elect Judge Susan Crawford.
Brad Schimel has cut shady deals for campaign cash his entire career. And now Elon Musk is helping him cut the shadiest deal of his political life. Reject Elon Musk’s hostile takeover of Wisconsin’s Supreme Court, and elect Judge Susan Crawford.

And here’s Schimel on a check again because I think it bears repeating!

We’re in the home stretch . . .
Here’s an Op Ed from Wisconsin Megaphone that you could pull from for talking points on any of today’s links dealing with reproductive rights. Or just talk about any of the reasons you find an 1800s abortion ban unacceptable…
I’m starting with Instagram today:
Here’s an article in the Milwaukee Journal about a voter ID referendum – scroll down in the comments and you’ll see this comment:
Let’s give Quetzalflower some love!
And comments/questions/graphics – the demcast pic below with Schimel on a check would be perfect for this convo! And a suggested comment.
Feel free to continue scanning the comments for anything else you can respond too.
