NEWS ALERT!
We need more than just a tool. We need a movement.
8:00 pm, Sunday, January 12
Start 2020 with the National Strategy Call
On January 12, join Swing Lefters across the country and learn how we plan to beat Trump and turn all the Houses Blue. Swing Left Co-Founder and Executive Director Ethan Todras-Whitehill will lead the online conversation, along with Tori Taylor, head of political and organizing, and Marisa Kanof, national field director.

Start off the fight for 2020 with this online national call.

PS. If you want to hear more about what Todras-Whitehill is thinking, read “No More Nice Dems“, an article in the New York Review of Books.

CALL TO ACTION
Party in a Box
It’s Time to Strategize

In 2018 Swing Left started organizing early and spent nearly two years implementing the plan – and that planning and hard work paid off with a big blue wave that flipped the House!

To repeat our success in 2020, we started in early 2019, and are now rolling out the second half of our 2020 strategy.

Our goal: Flip all the Houses – the White House, the Senate and the State Houses. Join us at and learn how. We will recap the voter registration successes we’ve had in 2019, unveil our Get Out The Vote programs targeting key Super States in the runup to November and develop our action plans in a lively discussion session.

RSVP and join us as we build the momentum that will carry us to November 3 and win the great government we want and deserve.

SUPERSTATE
Texas is NOT a Red State!
If Texas had the voter participation rates of other states, it would be Blue.
Texas Not Red?
Yes, Republicans control all statewide Texas offices, both houses of the state legislature and have a majority in the Texas congressional delegation. BUT Texas is not a Red State. It’s a Non-Voting State.

Texas Election Commission laws do as much as possible to discourage voters.
  • No automatic registration
  • Automatic voter suspension after two years
  • Strict photo ID requirement
  • Voter intimidation at the polls
Reclaim Our Vote has proved that postcarding can shift the odds. Thanks to their efforts:
  • In Dallas County, there are now 2,129 newly pending and actually re-registered Democratic voters; the norm is 10 registrations a month.
  • In Fort Bend, there are 424 newly pending/ registered Democratic voters.
  • ROV — a non-partisan phone bank, postcarding, and text banking campaign created by the Center For Common Ground — works in rural counties, contacting voters of color in voter-suppression states
  • Swing Left Greater Boston has partnered with ROV to create an anti-voter suppression campaign in a box.

Host a Reclaim Our Vote postcard party /or sign up to attend one in the calendar above.
