On April 23, Citizens Bank will be holding their Annual Shareholder Meeting at its headquarters in Providence, RI. In response, a coalition of progressive organizations from the surrounding area will be holding a peaceful standout that they are calling “The People’s Shareholder Meeting to De-ICE Citizens Bank” outside of their headquarters building. There will be a press conference and rally to get Citizens Bank De-ICE’d!
Activist Evenings is organizing a caravan for people interested in attending the rally in Providence. If you live in the Brookline area and can offer a ride or need a ride to Providence, please sign up here. Cars will leave the parking lot at TJMaxx in Brookline at approximately 7:00am and return at approximately noon. Our organizers will match drivers with passengers.
