About Alix: A lifelong activist and child of the 1960s, her passion for political activism runs deep—it’s a core part of her life. Since retiring in 2014, and especially after the 2016 election, she has dedicated herself full-time to the fight for progress. In 2019, she co-founded Swing Left North Shore/Cape Ann with Bob Scheier (now of MAFlipPA), and she currently holds a leadership role within Swing Blue Alliance.
