This a local Indivisible event! Immigration and ICE in our community. We have decided to focus this meeting on immigration. We have a guest speaker who has worked with Immigrants at the Mexico border. We will talk about the Know Your Rights information and the efforts at spreading ICE alerts. We will provide handouts and ways you can get involved.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
