We will hear from some of the top organizers of North Carolina voter registration, especially with young and of-color residents. The meeting will shed light on the voter registration landscape in North Carolina and its critical importance to expanding the electorate. Speakers will discuss plans for voter registration in 2025 and 2026 and the challenges groups face in registering large numbers of voters.
Liz Kazal, Chief of Staff, Put NC First, and a national expert on voter registration, will moderate. Speakers:
Denicia Montford, Associate Executive Director, NC A. Philip Randolph Institute (pictured above) – the largest non-partisan voter registration group in the state, focused especially on people of color.
Irving Zaleta, NC Director, Mi Familia Vota. They will run the largest Latine voter registration program in NC this election cycle.
Renee Rowe, Co-Executive Director, Unifour One.
