Join Swing Left to knock on doors and Get Out The Vote in NH-02, one of the country’s most crucial Congressional swing districts. We need all hands on deck to boost Democratic turnout before Election Day. You’ll be canvassing to support Harris/Walz, Joyce Craig, Maggie Goodlander and Democrats up and down the ballot in partnership with Stand Up America and Vote Save America.
The bus will depart from downtown Providence (exact location TBD) at 9:00 AM for New Hampshire. We’ll briefly stop in Boston and then continue on to New Hampshire where we will knock doors from 12-6pm. Then, we’ll head back to Providence with an arrival time around 8:00 PM. The drive takes approximately 2 hours each way. There are bathrooms on the bus.
We will be in touch closer to the departure date with more details about what to expect for training, meals, and more.
Volunteers are trained on the bus and will receive additional training at the campaign office upon arrival. Your goal will be to identify supporters and increase turnout. Anyone is welcome to join us on a bus—no prior experience is needed. You will be walking door to door, so comfortable shoes, a water bottle, and weather appropriate clothing – such as sunscreen, a hat, and an umbrella/poncho – is recommended. Every volunteer is paired with a partner. Volunteer-to-voter conversations have been proven to be the most effective volunteer action.
