What’s the Inactive Voter List? If someone is on the Inactive Voter list, it means their address has not been updated with the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office and they won’t receive election mail – including a mail-in ballot – until they update their address with the Recorder’s Office. The voter can do a “real-time” address update at any in-person voting site on election day but it’s clearly best to get election mail and a mail-in ballot.
Why are we calling these voters? Many voters may not even realize they are on the Inactive Voter List! We’re calling to inform them that they are on the Inactive Voter List and to go to BeBallotReady.vote NOW to update their voter registration with their correct address so that they can:
get on the Active Voter List receive election mail vote a mail-in ballot
