There’s no such thing as “bad” weather….just poor clothing choices!
Over 200 of us came out on March 29th, with flags and signs and chants. Let’s do it again!
What’s the message?
Elon Musk is an unelected political actor. He’s causing tremendous damage to our government, and is hurting people who work(ed) for governmental agencies, and people who are served by governmental agencies. Elon Musk is hurting our country and its people.
We are here to draw attention to Musk’s role as a political figure, and to highlight that his (and others’) actions are illegal, hurtful and morally wrong.
From Tesla Takedown:
“Tesla Takedown is a peaceful protest movement. We oppose interference with others’ rights to go about their business, violence, vandalism, and destruction of property.
This protest is a lawful exercise of our First Amendment right to peaceful assembly.”
On 3/29, the actions of a few people who blocked chargers reflected poorly (in the press, and to those who witnessed the behavior) on the 200 other people who came out for the #TeslaTakedown.
Please do not block the Tesla chargers with your vehicles. It’s not OK. We don’t want to inconvenience Tesla owners, most of whom bought their Teslas to protect the planet. In exercising our rights, we will not impinge on the rights of others.
Please don’t park on the Pride property. Parking is available:
at Hadley Crossing, just east of the Bay Rd. intersection
along the side of Bay Rd.
at the vacant gas station just west of Pride
at Hampton Inn Village Shops, 41-49 Russell Street
