This a local Indivisible event!
Franklin County Continuing the Political Revolution (FCCPR) will be holding a “Rally for Immigrants Rights” on Saturday June 28th from 2:00-3:30 on the Greenfield City Hall steps at the Commons. It will be a time to inform the public about the needs of our Franklin County neighbors and to hear about what is in place for them.
In addition to speakers and music, the event will end with a standout on the Greenfield Common, with signs more than welcome. Speakers will include our MA State Senator Jo Comerford, John Miller (Wheaton College professor), Rabbi James Greene, Attorney Buzz Eisenberg, and Spoken Word Artist NbdMayla. Music by folk artist Molly Scott and the Expandable Brass Band.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
