CAMBRIDGE, MA – SIT In for Democracy, Stand Up for Healthcare

October 26 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT

We will be hosting a peaceful “sit in” protest in the courtyard of the Harvard Kennedy School on Sunday, October 26th, during the anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis (October 16th – 28th, 1962), in opposition to RFK Jr.’s actions as Secretary of Health & Human Services. This will be a peaceful, nonviolent gathering to draw attention to RFK Jr.’s restructuring, budget cuts, and spread of misinformation on vaccines.

This a local Indivisible event!

We will be meeting around 9am and plan to stay until around 12pm. We are flexible, however, and open to suggestions about practicalities from anyone familiar with the Harvard Kennedy School. We will bring poster board and markers for those interested in drawing signs though all are encouraged to bring their own.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
