Location note: because we are expecting a large crowd, we are moving the speaker portion of the event to the Boston Common Liberty Mall area directly across the street from the Massachusetts State House. We will be on a grassy area following some rain on Wednesday and Thursday so please be prepared for mud.
Our program will begin with speeches from local academics, students, and activists about the importance of pro-science policies and federal funding to their work. Talks will run from shortly after 12:00 until approximately 2:45. From there, the remainder of the event will shift into an opportunity to continue holding vigil with our signs, networking with each other and state officials, and taking individual actions to stand up for science.
Important safety information: Please do not fully block the sidewalk, stand in the street, or bring signs attached to sticks!
