Ride for Our Republic is a recurring pro-democracy bike ride on the last Saturday of the month. We cycle together to sound the alarm of tyranny and fight for our democracy.
In the spirit of Paul Revere and on the 250th anniversary of the first American Revolution, we ride to proclaim “In a free republic the law is king” just as Thomas Paine did in 1776.
Next Boston #Ride4Republic is Sat. May 31st at 10am.
Starting Location: Paul Revere Park – N Washington St, Boston
Waypoints: Davis Square in Somerville at 10:45am, 3.9 miles
Arlington Center at 11:30am, 3.8 miles
End Location: Minuteman Bikeway, Lexington Center, 5 miles
Wear a pro-democracy costume or message on your clothing, bag, bike, or flag. Bring water, snacks, packed lunch, sunscreen, bike lock, and other ride supplies.
We bike on a combination of bike paths and roads for a total of 12.7 miles, but you can join or end your ride at the waypoints where we rest and rally. We will share a picnic lunch at the end of the ride.
