Now that Congress has passed the Big Unbeautiful Bill, it is essential that we spread the word about how the new legislation will have a huge impact on the everyday lives of millions of ordinary people, while the wealthiest among us will only get richer because of permanent tax cuts for the richest of the rich. Meanwhile, the cruel cuts in Medicaid, Department of Education, SNAP, Meals on Wheels, Planned Parenthood, Head Start, and School Lunch Programs ( and much more ) will cause real suffering for low and middle income families. Our rally is an opportunity for all of us to demand fairness and equity for all families.
