Swing Left Greater Boston’s Susan Labandibar is speaking at Indivisible Northampton during their Zoom meeting this Monday, June 21 at 7PM. Indivisible Northampton is a chapter of Indivisible MA, a grassroots organization which aims to provide resources to organizers working to strengthen constituent power in Massachusetts and improve democracy.
Join us as Labandibar shares SLGB’s mission to help blue state volunteers take the most effective actions to protect our democracy, strengthen the Democratic party at the grassroots level, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
Labandibar will be highlighting SLGB’s research on the effectiveness of different tactics, such as sending postcards and phone-calling, in changing senators’ behavior. She will discuss our data-driven strategy for pushing senator support for the For the People Act (H.R. 1./ S.1.). Indivisible brings the strength of issue advocacy as we work together to pass this important bill.
This meeting comes as Swing Left Greater Boston begins the process of rebranding as Swing Blue Alliance and affiliating with Indivisible. Our affiliation reflects the recognition that to better fulfill our mission and consistently win elections, we must invest in building relationships with other progressive groups on the ground year-round. We are looking forward to future opportunities to collaborate on protecting voter rights, registering voters, and holding the Senate and the House.

We hope to see you all there!
