These stellar candidates are fighting to hold their razor-thin margins -- and succeeding, according to them, because of what SBA volunteers are doing so effectively.

Really Talk to Dems in NH
Studies show that canvassing can increase voter turnout by up to 9% in certain situations. You can help NH realize this level of success!
We believe you can affect Dem voters because SBA uses Deep Canvassing, one of the most effective techniques in practice. However, this approach only works if people walk the streets and make thecalls. Be one of the people that enable NH to keep the US Congress blue.
Democrats are beginning to think about what to do in the next couple of weeks to protect democracy. However, "the next couple of weeks" is cutting it really close.
Postcard and letter writers are facing election deadlines: NC has already begun distributing vote-by-mail ballots; Pennsylvania starts sending out theirs this week. It’s up to us to get Democrats the information they need to request and submit ballots ... NOW.
Let's make sure that Democratic activists in swing states have the time they need to find and join local volunteering opportunities. Volunteers TBD is recruitingpeople who'll engage friends and neighbors in ways that we can’t from blue states. Your calls this week will put new feet on the street by early October, only one month before the election.
Get Postcards and Letters to Writers While There's Still Time
Swing Blue Alliance is one of the only grassroots organizations working directly with Democratic candidates and county administrators. SBA cards and letters give voters concrete actions they can take and provide info citizens need to register to vote, request absentee ballots, and learn about/vote for Democratic candidates.
Right now, SBA's volunteer writers are looking for a chance to increase voter participation. You’re the one who can provide the materials and addresses they need to start writing.
The Swing Blue Postcard Team will provide one-on-one mentoring, giving you all the support you need to distribute cards.

John Meiklejohn, a member of Indivisible's Voices Rising Together group, has been a postcard and letter writing host for five years. One thing he's learned: “We’ve collaborated with numerous organizations but have time and again returned to SBA because of the exceptional level of organization, recurring postcard and letter initiatives, and ability to work with organizations in swing states.”
