Great News for Democracy in Wisconsin |
Democratic Judge Janet Protasiewicz (Pro-ta-SAY-witz) came in first in Wisconsin’s state Supreme Court primary this week, and will run against MAGA extremist Dan Kelly in the general election on April 4th. |
We need your help! The election is only 5 weeks away. Judge Janet is a strong advocate for reproductive rights and fair electoral maps. Her opponent is an extreme Trump ally with ties to the "fake electors" scheme to overturn the 2020 election. Democracy in Wisconsin is key to the future of US Democracy. |

Postcards to Wisconsin |
Swing Blue Alliance is launching a Wisconsin Supreme Court GOTV experiment. Together we’ll send 30,000 postcards to pro-choice voters who are at severe to moderate risk of not voting in the April 4th Wisconsin Supreme Court election. |
These official-looking cards ask the voter a simple handwritten question about their plan to vote. This proven message was used successfully by Postcards to Swing States in the 2020 Wisconsin Primaries. Even better: We’ve added a QR code to the back of the card so that voters can easily look up information on Iwillvote.com. Swing Blue Alliance will receive a tally of the number of QR clicks. |
Postcard Hosts: The Swing Blue Alliance eStore has opened for registered postcard hosts to order Wisconsin GOTV postcards. Minimum order 300 cards. |
Registration required. Minimum order 300 |
Overcoming the Rural - Urban Divide |
|
The path to defeating extreme MAGA runs through rural districts. Although Biden won more raw votes than any candidate in presidential history, he lost more than 90% of the rural counties in the United States, more than any presidential winner. |
Join the Franklin County Democratic Committee and Swing Blue Alliance on March 4 at 10 am to hear how the Rural-Urban Bridge Initiative (RUBI) is working to reverse the partisan divide. |
Anthony Flaccavento, co-founder of RUBI, will present research and practical strategies for connecting with rural voters. Change begins here! |
Sat, Mar 4 @ 10 am - 12:30 pm ET |
Support Young Democrats in New Hampshire |
603 Forward recruits, trains, and funds younger progressive candidates in New Hampshire, and they helped beat back NH Republicans’ control of local school boards in 2021. Let’s help them do it again! |
On March 14, NH will hold local elections for Town Councilors, Library Trustees, School Boards and City Clerk. These used to be little-noticed races that didn't create controversy. Not anymore. |
Help keep the far Right from controlling what schools can teach and deciding what books can be read by supporting one of the most effective grassroots groups in NH. |
Our Mission Swing Blue Alliance (formerly Swing Left Greater Boston) is the largest all-volunteer Democratic grassroots organization headquartered in Massachusetts. We use proven methods to protect our Democracy, work on competitive local and national elections, and strengthen the Democratic party at the grassroots level. |
Your contribution will help fund the operations of this volunteer-produced newsletter, which goes out to over 15K subscribers. |
