DESCRIPTION:<p>Hello\, local defenders of democracy-</p> \n<p>Before you read any further\, allow me to say THANKS for being here and for doing the work you do! We can't win these important fights without individual action from people like you. Together\, we CAN and WILL save our precious democracy.</p> \n<hr />\n<p>THIS TIME: Swing Left RI is supporting our friends at Postcards to Swing States\, who are helping to remind the good folks of OHIO to VOTE in the 2026 midterms.</p> \n<p>HOW THIS EVENT WORKS:</p> \n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Select a date/time when you'd like to pick up your postcards on the East Side of Providence.</p> \n</li>\n<li>\n<p>On your pick up day\, drive to the address provided once you register\, and walk up the five steps to the front porch. Look for the white shelf. Your postcard pack will await you there. It will have your name on it. Each pack will contain: instructions\, voter lists and addresses\, and twenty postcards\, and stamps (while supplies last).</p> \n</li>\n<li>\n<p>Write your postcards\, one to each of the (20) OHIO voters on your address list. </p> \n</li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>HOLD ALL of your postcards until our mass mailing date of OCTOBER 14th\, 2026</strong> just before the midterms.</p> \n</li>\n</ol>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT DETAILS:</strong></p> \n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>This is a contactless event. You will write your cards from home.</p> \n</li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>IF YOU CANNOT PICK UP YOUR CARDS by Mon Sept 21st</strong> please contact the organizer using Mobilize.</p> \n</li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Don’t need stamps? Want to pay for those provided?
