Humanity at Work, the local LUCE mutual aid hub, is partnering with the Saint Anthony Of Padua Food Pantry to bring visibility to the needs of the community during the government shutdown.
No human been should go to bed hungry. It’s an incredible time to live where ICE gets funded to terrorize the community, but SNAP gets shut down.
This is partnered with the local Indivisible group.
Join us on Saturday! Bring a non-perishable item or fresh produce. Come to learn about how you can help the migrant community of New Bedford and how can we mobilize to push Governor Healey to prevent food insecurity in the state.
You can’t make it?
No worries. Learn about and sign the petition to Governor Hailey:

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
